The KH-45 provides 60m/min. [2,360ipm] rapid traverse (X/Y/Z axes) along with 33.3 min ^-1 (B axis) table rotating speed. Acceleration / deceleration rates exceed 1G (option). The KH-45 is one of the fastest machines in its class, and this helps to reduce non-cutting time and increase productivity.  The ball screws and roller guide ways are “cooled” by the pressurized open loop lubrication system.  The pressurization also keeps contaminants away from the ballscrews and roller ways.  Together all of these features enhance the KH-45 “high speed” machining capabilities.
