Ever since the launch of its DECO 2000 concept, TORNOS has maintained its commitment to improving its services and
has, through these efforts, secured a place in the bar-turning market for workpieces of mid-range complexity. It has
achieved this with its [a-line] range of products, delivering characteristics which have already satisfied thousands of
customers in a wide and varied range of sectors right around the globe.
Moreover, the manufacturer has not stopped there ! Indeed, in April 2005, the manufacturer unveiled its new range of
single-spindle turning machines, Sigma, developed to produce workpieces of simple to average complexity, and is so doing rounded
off its product range to cover all customer requirements !
Of course, these evolutionary changes have also been applied to multi-spindle turning machines, with the MultiDECO 20/6be now
capable of reducing the production costs of simple components, when compared to a classical MultiDECO unit. In contrast to the
above unit, the MultiDECO 32/6c and MultiAlpha 8x20 machines were launched to tackle very complex workpieces.
Another contributory factor to the success of our business is our TB-DECO software which enables mixed programming of
single-spindle and multi-spindle units based on the same logical approach. The latest version of the latter unit, the "TB-DECO
ADV", is more simple, more powerful, more accessible and much faster. Please note that this program complements the basic version
supplied with the machine.
The demands of modern industry are rising all the time and call for continuous development on our part if we wish to satisfy all
the increasingly demanding needs of our customers.
The TORNOS team of specialists has set itself the challenge of offering our customer base a set of solutions which focus to a
progressively greater extent on precise individual needs, both in terms of technology and in terms of price/quality ratio. On
several occasions, Tornos has already demonstrated that it is steering a course on the right heading ...
